500-hour TEACHER TRAINING

Inner Peace Yoga Center, a 501 C(3) educational non-profit organization and a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga School, is taking registrations for its 2014  500-Hour Teacher's Certification Training (300 hour over 200 hour certification already earned - Please provide proof of 200- Hour certification). Students looking to expand their knowledge of yoga from postures, to philosophy and meditation will find that this world class, comprehensive training conducted by internationally known instructors with published works in the field of yoga and wellness, will help them towards that goal. Training begins March, 2014 and runs through March 2015. We offer both a certification track and a non-certification track for those who just want a more in-depth study of yoga science for their own personal growth.

In keeping with the Yoga Alliance requirements your training will include:

  •  Working towards mastery of intermediate and advanced postures/and how to effectively teach such
  • Anatomy and physiology as it applies to asana, pranayama and meditation
  • A study of Ayurveda in comparison to Traditional Chinese Medicine
  • Superconscious meditation and mindfulness
  • An in-depth study of tantra philosophy

                            and much, much more

The majority of the training will be done by Inner Peace Yoga Center directors Charles (author of the book:  Pathless Path: God, Grace, Guru) and Carol Crenshaw (contributing author The Clinical EFT Handbook). They have 70+ years of experience between them practicing and teaching yoga, alternative health practices and meditation. They have lived in India; they have studied with yogis, swamis, pandits, philosophers, psychologists, M.D.'s, and energy healers.  Both  hold masters degrees in Eastern Studies/Comparative Psychology and are E-RYT 500+ Yoga Alliance certified instructors, having personally taught thousands of people yoga. They have been training teachers since 1987 as directors of the Himalayan Institute in New York City, at the Himalayan Institute's national headquarters in PA., and here in Indianapolis.

The cost of the program is $3200 ($3000 if paid in full by the start of the training). Space is limited, so apply as soon as possible.  Please inquire about the cost for the non-certification track. Payment plans are also available.
